Good Work Issue #10
Following your vision, corporates in Ukraine, blurred workplace boundaries and more.
Hello,
A very warm welcome to the tenth issue of Good Work.
"April prepares her green traffic light, and the world thinks: Go!"
I saw this quote from American author Christopher Morley earlier in the week and it has stuck with me as the sun has made an appearance here in London, there’s some warmth in the air, the garden is springing to life and, for once, the fine weather looks set to stick around for the Easter weekend.
It’s the first Easter since 2019 where there won’t be Covid-19 enforced restrictions on what we can do, so whatever you are up too, make the most of it!
We’ve had a busy few weeks here at Impactful, with an exciting new idea coming to fruition which we will share with you soon, and opening the recruitment for our latest position - Product Designer. If you or someone you know might be interested, contact us today.
We have two great guest posts this month, and are still actively seeking contributors to the Digest and this newsletter, so if you have a viewpoint or story to share, please drop us a line today.
Happy reading,
Luke and all the Impactful team,

As remote workers struggle with work-life boundaries, is a return to the workplace the answer? This survey isn’t so sure.
For many, the shift to remote work during the Covid-19 pandemic offered increased flexibility and work-life balance. But a new survey reveals that 47 percent of remote workers in the US are concerned about the blurred boundaries between their jobs and personal lives. It also reports that during the pandemic—when most office workers were remote—their hours worked and burnout increased. At the same time, however, they reported their engagement/morale, mental health, and the number of vacation and sick days they used all decreased. So take a deep dive into the data here.

The RIGHT Way to Do Work-Life Balance with Simon Sinek
“If you are struggling to find work life balance, then no amount of yoga will fix that….”
We need to start trusting people to set their own boundaries when it comes to work and personal life states Simon Sinek in this insightful answer to the question of work-life balance.
