Hello,
A very warm welcome to the eighth issue of Good Work.
For many of us, Mark Zuckerberg, holds a curious position in our lives. Broadly the same age, Facebook was an important part of university and life in our 20s, now whilst its use has probably diminished, Instagram continues to grow and most of us have WhatsApp as our default messaging service. His other services, in augmented reality, virtual reality and more, whilst not yet widely utilised, may well become a regular part of our day.
So, for such a influential, disruptive and at times controversial organisation, the values behind it have continue to fascinate, so it was great to be able to dig into what they are now using, as they switched from Facebook to Meta. Read the story for more, but they’ve come a long way from “Move fast and break things.”
We are also actively seeking contributors to the Digest and this newsletter, so if you have a viewpoint or story to share, please drop us a line today.
Happy reading,
Luke and all the Impactful team,
